Event Description

Public health problems are diverse and can include infectious diseases, chronic diseases, emergencies, injuries, environmental health problems, or other health threats. Public Health Laboratories (PHLs) serve as the first line of defense to protect the public against diseases and other health hazards. This webinar is designed to discuss the role of public health laboratories as part of a larger inter-related system of organizations (including clinical laboratories) that influence the health of populations.
