Event Description
Join us for an informative and practical webinar focused on the qualification requirements for personnel performing moderate and high complexity laboratory testing. This event will provide a clear overview of regulatory expectations, competency standards, and best practices to ensure compliance with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) regulations. As part of the Laboratory Director University (LDU) curriculum, a program developed in partnership with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Event Objectives
After completing this training, participants will be able to:
- Identify educational and other resources available through the OneLab Network.
- Identify the CLIA-required personnel positions involved in the clinical laboratory testing process for laboratories that perform moderate and high complexity testing.
- Verify the responsibilities of specific personnel for accurate and reliable moderate and high complexity testing throughout the testing process.
