This course offers a comprehensive review of the laboratory director’s delegation duties, and participants will have the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned to realistic, fictitious scenarios to gain practical experience.

This intermediate-level course is designed specifically for laboratory directors and aims to guide them through both the criteria and process of delegating responsibilities.

Objectives
At the end of this course, learners should be able to:
- Identify which laboratory director responsibilities cannot be delegated according to CLIA regulations.
- Recognize laboratory director responsibilities that can be delegated under CLIA regulations.
- Identify CLIA personnel qualification criteria to determine which laboratory personnel are eligible to assume specific delegated responsibilities.
