Providing Follow-up Support to Laboratory Learners

Course Description

Follow-up support helps strengthen knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) by reinforcing the training content. This encourages a deeper application as learners engage with the material repeatedly, over time. This course guides learners through the application of CDC’s Quality Training Standard #8: Training includes follow-up support for the learner. The strategies and practices covered are adaptable across different training types, including eLearning, in-person training, and hands-on approaches such as the “See one, do one, teach one” method.

Audience

This basic-level course is designed for public health and clinical laboratory professionals who develop and deliver laboratory training.
